NSW: PSA wants politicians to explain public service job cuts=2

NSW opposition leader Peter Debnam said departmental head office jobs would be the
focus of a coalition government's strategy to scrap 29,000 public service positions.

"We're talking about the extraordinary number of backroom bureaucrats in the head offices
of departments," Mr Debnam told reporters.

"It's as simple as that."
