US court to decide on generic drug labels

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court will decide this summer whether to allow generic drug makers to be sued for not trying to get U.S. regulators to add warnings about potentially dangerous side effects to their drug labels.

The high court on Wednesday heard arguments from PLIVA Inc., which is trying to stop lawsuits against it.
